Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; or equivalent experience in a finance-related role.
- 1-3 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in retail or similar industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including functions such as VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, and pivot tables) and experience querying large datasets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distill complex financial information into clear, actional insights for non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure, navigate ambiguity and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models, dashboards, and reports to support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for the Merchandise function.
- Create, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to surface sales trends and actional insights for various business partners.
- Leverage advanced data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) and financial systems to optimize analytical processes.
- Collaborate with the business partners across the organization on weekly, monthly, and quarterly processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare clear, concise exhibits and presentations that translate complex analysis into actionable insights.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritizing workloads and meeting tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
