Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with prospects via text, email, and phone.
- Exceptional follow-up skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work some weekends and national holidays, especially during the boating season, based on an agreed-upon schedule with the General Manager and Membership Executive.
- Ability to drive and travel between locations within the geographic territory.
- Pass a background/education check, and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Schedule & attend virtual presentations, open houses, and dock tours at any Freedom Boat Club locations in Wisconsin and the Chain of Lakes.
- Support Membership Executives with local sales activities, including attending boat shows, chamber events, open house, dock tours and networking with condo and corporate managers to promote Club membership.
- Manage and nurture initial leads within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, articulating the Freedom Boat Club experience via text, email, phone, and other communication channels before passing qualified leads to Membership Executives.
- Learn and observe the sales process by shadowing Membership Executives and General Managers, listening to sales calls, and assisting with dock tours and open houses.
- Provide proactive follow-up with prospects and new members throughout the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition into the Club community.
- Serve as a point of contact for administrative membership requests, including upgrades/downgrades, transfers, training scheduling, and other inquiries within the Wisconsin and Chain of Lakes markets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Sales or service-related experience preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems preferred but not required.
- Boating knowledge, including formerly owning a boat.
- Entrepreneurial spirit.
- Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and develop creative win-win outcomes.
- Positive, cooperative attitude with the capability of working unsupervised.
