Requirements
- Skill in hands-on processing of semiconductor devices and circuits.
- Experience with wet chemical etching; RIE/ICP etching; PECVD deposition; metal evaporation; sputtering; and microscope, profilometry, and SEM inspection of wafers is a plus.
- Processes associated with semiconductor device and IC fabrication
- Strong observation, documentation and communication skills
- Productivity software such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Must be able to work with little supervision and be a strong team player.
- AS in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or a related field, OR 3+ years experience in a related field
- Must be sufficiently mobile to work within confined spaces and have both visual and hearing acuity
- Must be able to work within a class 10 Cleanroom
- Must be able to work safely with and around potentially toxic and hazardous materials, chemicals and gases
- Good hand eye coordination
- U.S. person
- Ability to obtain/maintain security clearances (post-start) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform, develop, and refine fabrication processes.
- Inspect product at critical steps.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process problems.
- Work closely with senior technical staff to perform experiments and document experimental findings.
- Collect and analyze experimental data.
- Work with unit process engineers in order to fabricate wafer lots and execute experiments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with wet chemical etching; RIE/ICP etching; PECVD deposition; metal evaporation; sputtering; and microscope, profilometry, and SEM inspection of wafers is a plus.
