Requirements
- Experience in a Production Support role/environment is essential
- Experience with technical tools and systems and a willingness and ability to learn new technologies – SQL and Linux
- Experience installing, configuring and/or supporting business applications
- Knowledge and experience of Problem Management Tools
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders and lead discussions with clear, articulate, and highly assertive communication skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment whilst demonstrating practical problem solving and strategic thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain and support applications and their operating environments, providing technical and business support for users of Citi. This will include providing resolutions to application issues, driving stability, efficiency and effectiveness improvements to help the department and overall business succeed.
- Perform start of day checks, continuous monitoring, regional handovers and same day risk reconciliations.
- Develop and maintain technical support documentation for support team members and wider technology teams.
- Partner with appropriate application development and production support areas and teams to prioritise bug fixes and support tooling requirements.
- Assess risk and impact of production issues, escalating to the business and technology management in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Participate in application releases from development, testing and deployment into the production environment.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a Foreign Exchange / Markets Support is preferred.
