Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a technical field (engineering, maintenance, construction…)
- Bilingual French-English
- MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficiency
- Knowledgeable in facilities engineering operations and maintenance
- Proficient in financial performance analysis, projection and reporting
- Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Ability to effectively multi-task
- Knowledgeable in accounting processes
- Minimum seven years experience in facility maintenance and engineering management
Responsibilities
- Manage all operational aspects of the Mobile technical Services (MTS) to the regional and property level in a manner which protects, maintains and improves the value of owner assets through efficient operation and maintenance processes.
- Manage hazard control and team safety practices, ensure compliance with local codes and regulation and pass the Mobile Engineering operations audit.
- Consistently implement and manage all preventive, ongoing and anticipated maintenance/repair programs.
- Manage service vehicle fleet operations to deliver a cost effective fleet operation, tracking, analyzing and reporting on all levels of fleet operations.
- Support client teams in the development and implementation of multi-year capital project plans as applicable to MES scope of services.
- Manage mobile engineering resources in effective support of client projects.
- Maintain routine client and client-team interface to ensure satisfactory mobile engineering service delivery and support processes effectiveness.
- Manage regional team performance through review of work performance metrics, trending and other reporting via Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and other databases.
- Implement and manage all procurement policies and processes for regional engineering team.
- Effectively manage implementation of new client portfolio operations into region.
- Interface with Labor Union representation as required to manage union labor resources in compliance with applicable Collective Bargaining agreements.
- Manage team Human Resource local requirements to ensure compliance with all employee action processes and policies.
- Ensure ongoing team training participation, effective analysis of existing skill levels, and overall improvement of team technical qualifications.
- Consistently evaluate client needs to identify and develop team skill set focused at delivering increased value.
- Manage all regional operating expenses to budgeted levels
- Manage capital projects in a timely, cost effective manner at budgeted levels
- Assist the MES Director with forecasting operational and capital expenses
- Effectively manage all labor resource billing to ensure effective and timely billing of all resources.
- Manage risk associated with labor resources and client labor utilization
- Management of other aspects of regional operations as may be reasonably expected of the role.
- Effective and timely communication within the team.
