Requirements
- 10+ years experience in software sales, preferably in the data management space
- 5+ years experience in account management at a global level
- Bachelors degree
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Deep understanding of the markets and industries in which key accounts operate
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders in client organizations
- Demonstrated accountability, enthusiasm and ability to motivate and influence decisions makers
- Understand clients’ business needs, challenges and strategic priorities to tailor solutions that meet their objectives
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align services with client needs
- Implement strategic plans to manage global accounts effectively including opportunities for cross-selling, up-selling and referrals within existing accounts
- Drive sales growth by meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Develop a deep understanding of the client’s market, industry trends, and competition
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through effective account management strategies
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of services and solutions
- Negotiate contracts and terms of service with clients
- Foster a team environment that encourages global collaboration
- Monitor and analyze account performance using CRM tools
- Provide forecasts and updates to upper management
- Consult ROI analyses and present business solutions to clients
