Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience working in the field of global mobility, including vendor coordination, expense management, expatriate/repatriate assignments, and domestic and international relocation.
- 2+ years of U.S. immigration experience at a global organization
- Good knowledge of immigration regulations and laws.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to explain complex cases.
- Strong organizational, problem solving and project management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and being a productive team player.
- Desire to learn new areas and skills based on rapidly changing business environment and global growth.
Responsibilities
- Primarily oversee the domestic and international mobility experience and lead or co-lead special projects in global mobility; Partner closely with employees, external providers, as well as, Global Mobility COE, Talent Acquisition, HR, Legal, Finance, Payroll, Stock, Tax, and other internal cross-functional teammates.
- Manage global mobility requests using a case tracking system, focusing on creating good employee experiences, accurate and timely responses to stakeholders, and identifying and presenting trends.
- Initiate, monitor and manage lifecycle of immigration and relocation for employees in partnership with external immigration counsel and relocation service providers.
- Designated point of contact for time sensitive immigration documentation and record keeping as per government regulations.
- Strategize long term visa sponsorship support and escalate high risk immigration cases.
- Introduce strategies to streamline processes and transform policies.
- Keep apprised of current mobility trends and critical updates related to government regulations and provide consultation to internal stakeholders.
- Review vendor invoices and manage purchase order budget.
- Generate routine mobility and data analysis reports for audits as well as compliance requirements.
