Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 7 years of experience in technology solutions, data analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Analytics (GA4, GTM, Google Ads, Search Console and GCP products).
  • Deep expertise in tagging methodologies, pixel management and event-based tracking.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for custom tracking and tagging implementations.
  • Proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving data discrepancies, optimizing data flows, and implementing scalable solutions to improve analytics infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Design robust GA4 & GTM solutions and implementations tailored to UMG client business objectives and fan behaviour tracking.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, IT, Paid Media, eCommerce and Data teams to define tracking requirements.
  • Lead the design and implementation across cross-platform tracking including eCommerce, campaign, third-party social and consent management tools.
  • Oversee the technical vision and configuration, deployment, and management of Google Tag Manager (GTM) and GA4 data collection using knowledge of the Google Analytics and GCP product domain.
  • Lead the integration and configuration of data collection strategies ensuring accurate tracking of customer interactions across multiple digital touchpoints.
  • Provide expert guidance on efficient and scalable tag implementation.
  • Integrate Google Tag Manager (GTM) with other web digital products (e.g., WordPress, CDP, Shopify), third-party platforms, and CRM systems.
  • Audit and assess existing implementations to identify and resolve data gaps or inefficiencies.
  • Tailor recommendations and solutions to enhance decision-making capabilities and provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Provide hands-on training, mentorship, and workshops to stakeholder teams on GA4/GTM best practices.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive documentation to support the adoption and effective use of Google Analytics platforms across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google certifications (Google Developer Certification).
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on analytics and customer journey tracking.
