Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
- 5-7 years of experience
- 5 years of work experience in a similar role
Responsibilities
- Work with OSP to navigate the pre- and post-award grant-related activities
- Collaborate with staff members in the Office of Sponsored Programs and UNR Extension
- Identify and evaluate federal, state, and private grant funding opportunities
- Consult with leadership in the Division of Research and Provost’s office and UNR Extension
- Assist with the preparation and submission of competitive grant proposals
- Work with Extension faculty to ensure grant obligations are met
- Support the PI in the preparation and submission of reports and other grant deliverables
- Assist with the analysis of data and preparation of reports in support of institutional decision-making and planning
- Track metrics for strategic initiatives
- Collect data from institutional repositories and external sources
- Perform analysis with leadership and PIs
- Present and interpret actionable information and results
Preferred Qualifications
- A graduate degree is strongly preferred for this position
