Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science with 5+ years of software development experience; 3+ years with a Master’s; or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree (Level 3)
- Bachelor’s degree in Science with 8+ years of software development experience; 6+ years with a Master’s; or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree (Level 4)
- Active TS clearance required at time of application and ability to obtain SCI prior to start
- Ability to pass a Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI-Poly) (not required to start)
- At least 3 years of experience as a software developer
- Experience developing software in C++
- Experience developing software in Perl and/or Python
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
- Experience using Agile principles, processes, and tools
- Experience on Linux operating systems
Responsibilities
- Develop in C++, Python, and Perl in a RedHat Linux agile scrum and 3-month Increment environment using Atlassian tools as a team member on their Command and Control team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar
- Current and active Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Prior completed Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI-Poly)
- Engineering or development experience with the Space Industry
- Experience developing in Command, Control, and/or Telemetry applications
- Experience that spans the full Software Development Life Cycle
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (such as Gherkin or Robot Framework)
- Ability to effectively communicate and present to program management and customers
- Ability to effectively write technical documentation
- Experience sharing knowledge, mentoring, and working in a collaborative environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, testing, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience developing software in Java
