Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience, ideally with some combination of hands-on operator experience at a startup or at-scale tech company
- Analytical, strategic experience, e.g., at a top consulting firm or in a similar role
- Experience launching new growth channels or business lines from scratch, measuring their impact, and iterating on strategy and execution
- Data-driven—comfortable working with analytics tools, running experiments, and making decisions based on insights
- Thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and are comfortable switching between strategy and execution
- Strong cross-functional collaborator who can work effectively across marketing, operations, product, and data teams
- Scrappy, problem-solving mindset—resourceful, inventive, and proactive in identifying and tackling challenges
Responsibilities
- Explore new business opportunities through qualitative and quantitative research, user discovery, and competitive analysis
- Design and run scrappy pilots to test product-market fit
- Scale successful pilots into new business lines that contribute meaningfully to overall bookings
- Identify and research compelling opportunities, launch pilots, and scale them into business lines that contribute significantly to overall bookings
- Identify the biggest operational bottlenecks, design scrappy tests to address them, and work with the product team to scale the most effective solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA
- Experience in marketplaces, the gig economy, or edtech
