Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- 10 years of aviation maintenance experience is required.
- Two years of RDT&E experience is required.
- A bachelor’s degree or current enrollment working toward a bachelor’s degree is desired OR the completion of formal DOD Service Technical Training, along with five additional years of related experience, may be substituted for bachelor’s degree.
Responsibilities
- Supports the H-60 Test Team as part of HX-21, a Developmental Test and Evaluation squadron at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), NAS Patuxent River, MD.
- Supports a wide range of NAWCAD test and evaluation activities to include ground/flight event scheduling and coordination, test plan/test procedure development and review, flight briefings, test execution, and post event support.
- Responsible for all aspects of H60 maintenance, modifications, instrumentation, and scheduling to include planning, budgeting, contract oversight, aircraft configuration management, test project prioritization, and overall effectiveness of the platform in support of the ground and flight test mission.
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or current enrollment working toward a bachelor’s degree is desired OR Completion of formal DOD Service Technical Training, along with five additional years of related experience, may be substituted for bachelor’s degree.
- Quality Assurance and/or Maintenance Supervisor experience is highly desired.
