Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in relevant areas
- Relevant experience of PCB design flow such as component selection, digital and analog circuit design, schematic capture, layout, simulation and validation
- Knowledge of signal integrity, high speed signal fundamentals and simulation techniques
- Hands on experience with lab tools such as oscilloscopes, power supplies and soldering equipment
- Good analytical skills and ability to understand and communicate complex concepts
- Strong planning and documentation skills
- Strong project management skills
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all phases of product design: researching components, printed circuit boards (PCB) circuit design, simulations, component placement, routing, prototyping and validation leading to high volume manufacture (HVM) of SSD products
- Developing test procedures for components and SSD product designs
- Writing firmware for components and SSD product validation
- Work closely with cross-functional teams during the pre and post-design phase for smooth development of products and to meet product schedules
- Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment
