Hardware/Software Integration Engineer

B.S. degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or related technical degree
Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Proficiency in the use of standard electronic lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power meters, data acquisition cards, etc)
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Design and code automated test equipment software to support formal and informal verification of avionics requirements (qualification and acceptance testing)
Create and release drawings of the test hardware infrastructure, rack layouts, harnesses, breakout boxes/panels, power distribution, and grounding.
Participate in the requirements, design, and architecture
Develop software for various prototype objectives
Integrate software models, sensor drivers, and hardware emulators
Support the integration of flight avionics, operator consoles, and test equipment to verify the requirements and performance of the flight software
Support problem investigation and resolution
Establish and follow software development processes to ensure test equipment software is reliable, released and configuration managed.

Experience designing avionics labs, electrical ground support equipment, and/or test assets for hardware in the loop testing
Familiarity with sensors including linear variable differential transformers, resistance temperature detectors, thermocouples, pressure transducers, and resolvers
Experience with IP networking (IEEE 802.3)
Experience with communications protocol RS-422/485
Experience planning, executing, and reporting electronics testing
