Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of professional experience, including in digital marketing and go-to-market strategy for software/SaaS products with a high-velocity, online sales motion, familiarity with major digital marketing channels and technology.
- Proven ability to grow and scale software products targeted at small business owners.
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, web analytics, and other digital marketing channels.
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to meld technical understanding, market insights, and competitive intelligence into compelling, value-creating strategies.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, leadership, project management and team management skills.
- Excellent computer skills, especially with PowerPoint and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with FL100’s objectives of launching and growing a subscription-based business targeting small and medium sized businesses wanting to grow by creating and marketing new, innovative products.
- Develop and implement a digital go-to-market strategy and roadmap in order to engage, acquire and retain small business customers directly as well as through appropriate channel partnerships.
- Proactively identify and conduct due diligence on platform expansion opportunities; work closely with development team on product features and prioritization based on market insights.
- Proactively identify partnership opportunities, including but not limited to eCommerce platforms.
- As the team grows, lead, mentor, and manage the digital marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and more.
- Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Own subscription revenue growth.
- Develop and implement customer acquisition and retainment plans, oversee content creation, track KPIs and dynamically adjust as needed.
- Manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximum ROI on marketing spend.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and support for digital marketing initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Start-up experience (e.g. Series A/B) is a must; comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of the consumer goods industry trends. Passionate about the latest trends in generative AI and their applications to product innovation.
