Requirements
- Prior enterprise experience in Marketing Operations Leadership role
- Expert-level proficiency in managing large-scale projects, including the rollout of technology applications (e.g., MAPs, MRM, SFA) to marketing stakeholders
- Familiarity with the opportunity management process through the buyer’s entire journey and sales cycle
- An understanding of demand marketing and field marketing processes and business requirements for data and technology
- Experience with annual planning, forecasting, and budgeting
- Experience crafting and developing strategy plans
Responsibilities
- Build and develop relationships across the organization to influence business outcomes
- Act as a change agent to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness
- Lead teams through change management and process transformation initiatives
- Build relationships with key organizational partners such as sales, customers, and marketing leaders
- Streamline marketing processes and implement best practices
- Increase efficiency and responsiveness and define new marketing operational strategies
- Quickly identify, assess, and resolve issues that serve as barriers so the team can operate at maximum effectiveness
- Build and lead a global marketing planning function, coordinating inputs to the marketing planning process and orchestrating the end-to-end marketing planning process
- Develop consistent workflow processes utilizing modern workflow management software such as Confluence, Asana, Wrike or more
- Oversee the establishment and management of comprehensive project plans, milestones, and budgets, ensuring the timely delivery of marketing-related projects and initiatives
- Gather and disseminate internal and external marketing best practices
- Lead the budget strategy and manage the budget allocation and reconciliation process
- Provide input into the budget strategy and weigh in on investment decisions and resource allocation
- Provide insights-driven advice and consultation to the CMO and marketing leadership, leveraging marketing performance data from BI team and Growth Marketing team
- Design marketing measurement dashboards with support from BI team
- Develop executive-level reports to communicate marketing’s contribution to the business
- Analyze periodic measurement reports, making recommendations to improve marketing’s effectiveness and impact
- Lead marketing data strategy development and infrastructure deployment, including technology ownership and marketing process governance
- Partner with BI team and Market Intelligence team to impact and ensure high-fidelity data governance in enterprise-wide reporting
- Partner with IT to steer the marketing and revenue technology stack roadmaps and influence key use cases for marketing to improve the client experience as well as internal efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage Martech stack vendor relationships and partner with Growth Marketing on evolution of the Martech strategy
