Requirements

  • + 7 Years of experience in security, operations, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and standard office equipment.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant security laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
  • High proficiency in security technology and surveillance systems.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate surveillance equipment, badging system, and alarm systems to detect suspicious or illegal activities and investigate.
  • Prepare investigation or incident reports, record and report information to managers or other relevant personnel.
  • Conduct safety training programs and explain regulations, policies, or procedures.
  • Develop and document operational activities and procedures to align with TPS regulations.
  • Maintain TPS certification of security staff and self.
  • Inspect facilities and monitor operations to ensure compliance with security regulations.
  • Patrol properties to maintain safety and prevent unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
  • Request emergency services including police, EMS, and fire department personnel.
  • Supervise employees, assign duties or work schedules to employees and train personnel to enhance job skills.
  • Work closely with other departments (IT, HR, facilities management) to integrate security measures across the organization.
  • Works closely with business and operations teams to ensure compliance with security SLA’s.
  • Work closely with local authorities to ensure efforts are coordinated and streamlined.
