Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in health promotion, wellness programming, health screenings, or health education
  • Associate degree in a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage team members at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a collaborative team player
  • Availability to lead wellness events and activities outside of regular working hours, as needed

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for the Health & Wellness program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and benefits strategies
  • Build strong relationships with team members to foster engagement and participation in wellness activities
  • Research and identify new health and wellness opportunities to support team member well-being
  • Develop, implement, and promote wellness programs, health screenings, and educational sessions aimed at improving team member health and outcomes
  • Track and analyze participation in wellness programs, ensuring confidentiality while reporting on trends and demonstrating the impact on insurance rates and benefits
  • Communicate wellness program benefits through meetings, newsletters, and the intranet to increase awareness and participation
  • Lead on-site and off-site wellness activities, including lunches, volunteer events, and wellness challenges
  • Manage and monitor the health and wellness budget
  • Prepare cost/benefit analyses for wellness programs and events, evaluating ROI and impact
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps and create new wellness initiatives
  • Create and deliver wellness presentations, workshops, and training sessions on healthy living practices
  • Analyze team member health benefits and wellness reports to tailor programs and activities to team member needs
