Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a population health or well-being field or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/processes related to the position, including Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Able to research solutions independently
- Detail oriented and able to self-check for accuracy
- Reliable and punctual
Responsibilities
- Have a basic working knowledge and understanding of population health management with preferred knowledge of the employee benefits brokerage and consulting business
- Communicate with carriers and third party vendors to gather necessary information on well-being programs and offerings for clients
- Understand and maintain database of carrier well-being program offerings
- Maintain database of major carrier wellness fund rules
- Manage clients’ carrier wellness funds, submitting for payment and reimbursement, and tracking budget balance and progress
- Coordinate and track client well-being events such as health fairs and onsite vaccine clinics
- Prepare and send third party vendor RFPs and organize responses
- Collaborate with both the regional and national Health Management teams; research and understand national trends and resources in well-being and population health space
- Collaborate with MMA Southeast Marketing and Communications team to develop and deploy well-being communications for the employer and employees
- Collaborate with MMA Southeast account teams (i.e., Account Executive, Account Manager, Account Associate, Producer and others) to ensure regular, consistent communication of client needs and progress
- Request and organize reporting from carriers and third party vendors for program evaluation and client stewardship meetings
- Assist with Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and Smartsheets as requested
- Enter data into the agency management system and verify for accuracy; complete basic file maintenance
- Observe client well-being program strategy meetings, with participation as needed
- Understand when to proceed alone and when to involve the Health Management and/or Account team
- Attend team meetings, educational workshops, carrier functions, staff meetings, and social events as needed
- Collaborate within a team setting and demonstrate value outside of the assigned role when the client or team needs call for it
- Other responsibilities as needed to support the regional Health Management team
