Requirements
- At least two years of experience with troubleshooting and repair on gas/diesel engines
- Experience with hydraulic systems, electrical systems, transmission/rear end, basic chassis/brakes
- Fabrication skills (MIG and Arc welding/cutting)
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma, GED, or work experience equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screen and obtain airport security clearance (includes extensive 10-year employment, criminal record, and residence background check)
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt response to equipment service requests to troubleshoot and repair vehicles & belt loaders (unleaded, diesel, and propane engines), lavatory service trucks, air conditioner carts, ground power units, and more
- Perform and track preventative maintenance for each piece of equipment
- Work with station management to help control budget and order parts and supplies
Preferred Qualifications
- ASE Certification preferred
