Requirements
- Proven prior experience in a similar position
- Smart Serve Certification
- High attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
- Minimum 1 year experience in customer service, restaurant experience considered an asset
- Evening/ Weekend/ Holiday availability
Responsibilities
- Exude a warm and welcoming presence, in person and over the phone
- Communicate confidently with Servers, Bartenders, and Managers to maintain proper guest flow
- Escort guests to their table, engaging them in friendly conversation
- Accurately take reservations over the phone and in person
- Ensure that the front entrance, host stand, and surrounding areas are fully stocked and free from clutter and debris
- Be fully versed in table numbers and maintain awareness of each section in the restaurant
- Perform other duties as assigned or required
