Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of some college coursework in a related field such as Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Marketing / Communications, etc. required
- Must have a passion for connecting with and serving others, as well as an ability to build and maintain strong working relationships in a highly collaborative environment
- Must have an excellent attention to detail and strong personal organization skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & experience with Canva or similar applications preferred
- Must have a natural sense of curiosity and aptitude for researching problems, identifying root causes, gathering accurate information, and making data-driven decisions
- Must be able to operate with a high degree of confidentiality, use sound judgement, and exercise appropriate discretion
Responsibilities
- Facilitate an exceptional onboarding experience for new hires
- Execute routine core HR transactions such as data corrections and staffing transactions
- Execute Voluntary Termination activities including collecting documentation and scheduling meetings
- Support employee engagement efforts in collaboration with key departments
- Distribution of Team Member awards and recognition
- Assist with managing the tuition reimbursement program
- Help maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws / regulations
- Assist in the execution of a full job description auditing
- Assist with HR data and reporting efforts as well as maintaining current HR files and databases
- Assisting with administrative activities to support strategic people-focused initiatives
- Execute activities supporting Clayton’s Summer Internship Program
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
