Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven progressive HR experience, particularly in benefits administration
- Strong understanding of HR policies, employment laws, and industry best practices
- In-depth knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Lead the onboarding and offboarding processes with precision and care
- Draft employment contracts, offer letters, and handle all HR-related documentation
- Partner with HR leaders to implement impactful HR programs and initiatives
- Maintain and update employee records in HR systems
- Be a key player in the maintenance of our HRIS
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system upgrades
- Drive HR operations audits
- Ensure all HR operations align with local labor laws and company policies
- Produce insightful HR reports and metrics
- Represent HR on the corporate OHS Committee
- Answer employee questions about benefits
- Oversee and manage leaves of absence
- Collaborate with insurance providers and resolve any coverage or claims issues
- Lead benefits orientation sessions
- Manage annual US Benefit Open Enrollment
- Be a trusted resource for employees
- Help resolve HR-related issues
- Support employee engagement initiatives, wellness programs, and company-wide events
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with US employment law and benefits administration
