Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, 5-8 years related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience; required.
- SHRM or SHRM credential; preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of Paycor.
- Must possess a demonstrated knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures of Human Resources.
- Must possess a professional demeanor and telephone etiquette.
- Ability to work with all levels of management and employees in a professional and efficient manner.
- Must display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments accurately and efficiently.
- Must be organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
- Must work efficiently and effectively, both independently and as a team.
- Ability to identify issues, make decisions, and resolve problems.
- Possess and maintain current knowledge of laws related to Human Resources.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the HR Leader and go-to point of contact for employees, develops and implements policy and procedures to support the organization and strategic vision for the organization.
- Oversee recording and maintenance of employee information.
- Conduct investigations and resolve employee complaints and concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings and provide knowledge and guidance.
- Implement, disseminate, and monitor company policies, programs, and procedures.
- Provide training to managers on Human Resources related subjects and systems.
- Helps to resolve employee issues and concerns by providing training, support, and conflict resolution.
- Maintains Human Resource information system records and compiles reports from database.
- Manages new employee orientation and onboarding process.
- Champions and administers employee benefits program, annual open enrollment process and maintains benefit enrollment changes including COBRA administration.
- Supports the hiring managers with recruitment, interviewing and selecting applicants.
- Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organization’s compliance.
- Manages unemployment, worker’s compensation claims and FMLA.
- Maintain all HR files and recordkeeping requirements to ensure compliance.
- Works with Executive team to plan and conduct activities that impact retention, engagement, and enhance the team member experience.
- Has working knowledge of legal requirements, government regulations and HR policies and procedures.
- Analyze data related to turnover, productivity and attendance and safety.
- Administer and facilitate Leader and Employee development programs.
