Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Safety, Insurance, Fire Safety, Loss Prevention, Environmental Health, or Engineering
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation and open to weekly travel to client sites
- High degree of self-motivation and discipline
- Must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university.
- Must be comfortable working with proprietary information and be able to maintain confidentiality.
- High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize is required
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Consult with senior consultants to understand project needs and objectives.
- Develop safety programs based on OSHA, DOT, NFPA and industry best practices.
- Advise clients on best practices in risk mitigation and safety management strategies.
- Develop management/employee training programs and materials for clients
- Conduct loss analysis & trending to identify client focus areas
- Perform audits/assessments at client sites
- Provide overall support to the consulting team
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship experience preferred.
