Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in the electric bicycle or retail industry.
- Experience in operations or finance is a plus.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies and initiatives.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Proficiency in HR management software, such as HRIS or HRMS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Out-of-the-box thinker, eager to adapt to changes and drive innovation within the organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the company’s overall business goals and objectives.
- Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee retention.
- Oversee the performance management process, ensuring timely performance evaluations, feedback, and development opportunities for all employees.
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and support career growth.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting and upholding the company’s culture, values, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Oversee employee relations, addressing issues, grievances, and conflicts promptly and effectively, while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Manage and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop workforce planning and succession strategies to ensure a continuous pipeline of talent.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics, such as employee engagement, turnover, and productivity, to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate action plans.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Oversee legal operations, including compliance, risk management, and regulatory adherence to ensure the organization meets all legal and industry requirements.
- Manage insurance claims, including general liability, and employment-related claims, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation of risks.
- Oversee a paralegal, providing guidance and support in legal research, contract management, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with operations and finance teams to optimize HR and legal processes, contributing to overall organizational efficiency.
