Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or human resources discipline
  • Fundamental knowledge of HR functions including staffing, performance management, talent development, employee relations, compensation, payroll, and benefits
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and critical thinking skills
  • Project management skills
  • High energy level and customer service orientation, possessing excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Business acumen and focus on results
  • Change management and Continuous Improvement mindset

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the recruitment of top talent by enhancing recruitment efforts, managing orientation, and coordinating the onboarding processes
  • Enhance employee performance by supporting employee development and supporting managers in communicating roles and responsibilities to their employees
  • Analyze Key Performance Indicators in support of the Ingredion Performance System, identifying trends and supporting actions for improvement and decision making
  • Provide guidance and information to employees in the areas of compensation, staffing, benefits, and Company policies
  • Provide guidance on disability and FMLA programs as well as active and retiree health insurance plans
  • Manage contractual polling/bidding process and attendance programs, maintaining proper documentation

  • Have a good understanding of business functions, effective communication skills, good interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and good organizational skills
  • Improve HR initiatives and processes, enhance engagement, enhance employee relations, promote good HR practices, and attract talented recruits
  • Coach leaders to build leadership capabilities
  • Ensure employee relations policies are clear and communicated/trained throughout the organization
  • Identify needed values and behaviors and drive organization effectiveness
  • Develop communication to support the rollout and continual improvement of performance management
  • Function as a peer mentor, offering advice and guidance to less experienced colleagues
  • Partner with critical stakeholders as a strategic and trusted HRBP
  • Provide timekeeping and payroll support
  • Develop/support strategies to enhance key HR KPI’s such as Turnover, absenteeism, staffing, overtime, and quality of the hire
