Requirements
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or related field
- 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably with generalist focus
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment is required
- Strong communication skills; ability to collaborate with others
- Ability to effectively coach, lead and train others
Responsibilities
- Play counsel role with the management team to establish good human resources practices in order to promote an optimal work environment.
- Establish effective onboarding procedures and conduct employee orientation.
- Advise and guide assigned client groups on HR issues (e.g. conflict resolution, performance management, attendance issues, etc.). Advance issues as appropriate to COE’s based on complexity.
- Act as a resource person for Labor relations with the management team to promote a harmonious workplace.
- Implement innovative human resource practices that promote team mobilization and commitment.
- Partner with management team to promote employee growth and development (HR planning, career mapping, career coaching).
- Play critical role in driving positive employee engagement.
- Act as liaison between corporate HR, payroll and employees.
- Coordinate claims management and return to work for non-occupational injuries or illnesses.
- Facilitate relevant HR training to supervisors and hourly employees and maintain vital training records.
- Support HRBP and HR COE’s as needed with the evaluation of trends and metrics.
- Conduct exit interviews of hourly employees.
- Craft and maintain plant specific reference manuals, standards, policies, procedures, and work instructions that fall under the scope of Human Resources.
