Requirements
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources or a Technical Field of study.
- Previous experience in a Manufacturing setting preferably Front-Line Management or Training.
- Continuous Improvement or other Lean Manufacturing Experience.
- Exceptional computer skills (Microsoft programs, powerpoint, excel, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design and execution of the training strategy and will work with Finance to manage the sites training budget.
- Oversee training in all areas of the factory.
- As a member of the continuous improvement Team, the incumbent will work closely with on-site Managers.
- Support function to communicate pillar improvement and information transfer.
- Implements continuous improvement tools and skill development.
- Track training matrix against skills profile.
- Translates continuous improvement within the local culture to deliver against KPI results.
- Evaluate training material to ensure alignment with skill assessments and requirements.
- Comprehensive and systematic training program supporting the pillar leaders.
- Identify training gaps through analysis of site skills assessments.
- Coordinate and support site training activities.
- Coordinate site training and education including scheduling, set-up, purchasing of necessary materials, equipment and reporting to management on training hours and cost.
- Identify future training needs and identify training to address.
- Provide opportunities for ongoing development.
- Partner with the People Development Pillar for continuous improvement.
