Requirements
- Preferred Associate’s Degree in Radiology
- Required Certificate in Radiology
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) – American Heart Association
- Radiology Student Permit – Radiology Student Permit As required by state
- State Radiographer Operator License – State Licensing Board As required by state
- Radiography (ARRT-R) – The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Indiana within 1 year
Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic procedures using ionizing radiation to render optimum images
- Conduct preliminary analysis on images and collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to interpret images
- Assist with training students and technologists
- Perform injection procedures
- Maintain optimum timeliness, accuracy, proficiency, efficiency, and safety during the execution of duties
- Work closely with patients to ensure they understand procedures and are comfortable during procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred Associate’s Degree in Radiology
