Requirements
- Bachelor’s of Science Engineering degree or related Science degree from a college or university with an accredited engineering program.
- At least 10 yrs experience preferred; all levels considered based on experience and knowledge
- Technical understanding of nuclear plant processes/programs
- Knowledge of ASME section XI code, preferably 2013 edition
Responsibilities
- Develop the 10 year ISI Program Plan and associated Relief Requests.
- Develop solutions to perform non-destructive examinations on systems and components. Develop outage examinations plans based on ASME code requirements and plant ER.
- Conduct inspection of equipment within ASME Section XI boundary.
- Assist and/or manage the Material Degradation Program including Alloy 600/690.
- Augment ISI examinations to support inspections required by Material Degradation Prog.
- Perform Alloy 600/82/182 inspections required by the Alloy 600/690 Program.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations.
- Maintain program database, procedures and business practices.
- Complete investigations, actions in accordance with the Corrective Action Program.
- Support and interface with regulatory and oversight agencies.
- Participate in industry groups, boards to continuously implement best practices.
- Perform field walk downs, audits, assessments, observations.
- Implement NRC correspondence and industry OE to preclude programmatic issues.
- Support the ASME Section XI Repair / Replacement Program.
