Requirements

  • Bachelor’s of Science Engineering degree or related Science degree from a college or university with an accredited engineering program.
  • At least 10 yrs experience preferred; all levels considered based on experience and knowledge
  • Technical understanding of nuclear plant processes/programs
  • Knowledge of ASME section XI code, preferably 2013 edition

Responsibilities

  • Develop the 10 year ISI Program Plan and associated Relief Requests.
  • Develop solutions to perform non-destructive examinations on systems and components. Develop outage examinations plans based on ASME code requirements and plant ER.
  • Conduct inspection of equipment within ASME Section XI boundary.
  • Assist and/or manage the Material Degradation Program including Alloy 600/690.
  • Augment ISI examinations to support inspections required by Material Degradation Prog.
  • Perform Alloy 600/82/182 inspections required by the Alloy 600/690 Program.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations.
  • Maintain program database, procedures and business practices.
  • Complete investigations, actions in accordance with the Corrective Action Program.
  • Support and interface with regulatory and oversight agencies.
  • Participate in industry groups, boards to continuously implement best practices.
  • Perform field walk downs, audits, assessments, observations.
  • Implement NRC correspondence and industry OE to preclude programmatic issues.
  • Support the ASME Section XI Repair / Replacement Program.
