Requirements
- To be pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or another applicable major and actively enrolled in an accredited university
- To be sophomore-senior level standing with a GPA of at least 3.0
- Completed course work in Computer Aided Design (CAD)/AutoCAD
- To be available to work 40 hours weekly in a 6-month minimum co-op assignment
- No other work experience is required. We will teach you everything you need to know!
Responsibilities
- Work on problems of limited scope and contributes on projects or processes while receiving detailed instructions from higher level professionals
- Establish methods of maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel
- Conduct cost/inventory/production control and human factors studies to develop and implement plans for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods
- Assist manufacturing plant/facilities engineers with facility planning and design
- Apply interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with fellow teammates and achieve common goals
- Work in a hands-on environment with cross functional teams
- Utilize project management skills to develop, manage, and control scope, schedule and cost
