Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing and sales, advertising, or related area and 5 years’ experience in business development, market development, or related area.
- 7 years’ experience in business development, market development, or related area.
- 1 year’s supervisory experience.
Responsibilities
- Guide the future strategic direction of the business.
- Build, inspire, train, and manage a motivated, consultative sales and services team.
- Forecast and allocate resources to build profitable results.
- Share best practices across the entire sales team to enhance talent and overall performance.
- Understand our clients’ businesses and develop appropriate data-driven solutions to meet their needs.
- Implement projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research, and strategy development.
- Collaborate with partners to increase revenue with new and existing customers.
- Be the point of escalation for any potential issues.
- Consult with Product Marketing to help shape product development to support client needs across the business.
- Promote Sam’s Club MAP with agencies and suppliers at targeted events, conferences, and media opportunities.
- Champion Sam’s Club MAP product releases internally and externally.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and present Sam’s Club MAP’s solutions in a compelling, positive, and professional way.
- Be a leader within Sam’s Club and the industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- In a role preparing and executing budgets.
- Leading cross-functional teams.
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing and Sales, Advertising, or related area.
- Sales, Supervisory experience.
