Requirements
- 2-5 Years of experience working in an Enterprise IT environment.
- 1-2 Years of experience in Security, preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience working with engineering or operations technical teams
- Experience with Linux/network/cloud technologies
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
- Sense of ownership and pride in the quality of work
- Great collaboration and communication skills
- AWS & Azure infrastructure knowledge
- Experience working in a network operations center
- Experience managing Technical teams
- Understanding of Network LAN/WAN Topologies, DNS, client/server systems, Meraki Cloud, Palo Alto NGFW’s, HyperV, Microsoft servers, high performance computing, and Atlassian products including Jira ticketing system.
- Security first mindset with a lets get it done attitude.
- Okta workflows experience.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to solve complex investigations and to perform timely incident analysis
- Collaborate across business units to assist with incident response and to offer services that support our business goals as they pertain to Information Security
- Be a problem solver that works to understand the ‘who, why, what, when, and where’ of problems, thereby getting to the root causes and to eventual solutions
- Knowledge and experience with information security standards and frameworks
- Work alongside technical IT teams in incident management scenarios acting in the role of key contributor to guide the team through the response process using defined plans and standard operating procedures
- Use your varied skills to help tune and optimize our security controls to achieve a high level of detection and/or prevention
- Develop processes & procedures, as well as improve and automate current processes & procedures
- You will improve upon the daily security operations which involve monitoring system health, responding to security events, administering security tools such as email gateways, firewalls, IDS, proxies, endpoint security, and SIEM tools, conducting data analysis, and reporting to management
- Review and analyze security logs, alerts, and other data to identify patterns associated with freight fraud or unauthorized activity.
- Provides Tier 2 escalation support for Service Delivery Technicians and Senior Service Delivery Technicians
- Monitor and troubleshoot support solutions such as anti-virus, backup, disaster recovery, spam filtering, and other solutions as necessary as escalated by the Service Desk
- Assist the GRC manager conducting security risk analysis of business processes and technology solutions to evaluate compliance with internal security policies and standards as well as regulatory requirements and security best practices.
- Provide off-hours support as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 Years of experience in Security, preferred.
