Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, accounting designations, or equivalent education required
  • 7+ years of relevant audit and/or control testing experience
  • Preferred industry certification in audit and information security (i.e. CISSP, CISA, CIA, etc)
  • Knowledge of audit standards, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
  • Knowledge of risk management environment, standards, regulations, and mitigation
  • Knowledge of current and emerging trends
  • Ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities to ensure completion of issue
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions
  • Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions
  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
  • Ability to contribute to strategic direction provide advice to senior leadership

Responsibilities

  • Provides expertise and guidance on assessing risks, identifying potential gaps, and providing security solutions to mitigate risks and protect TD
  • Leads and executes regulatory remediation assurance efforts within an area of significant risk, complexity or scope that includes financial crimes and technology and cybersecurity domains
  • Strategic advisor to leadership team with deep industry, external/internal, and enterprise knowledge, recognizing and anticipating emerging trends, and identifying operational efficiencies and opportunities
  • Expert with in-depth knowledge of audit methodology for multiple, significant complex businesses, functional areas and/or global business lines
  • Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion
  • May participate in or lead various projects / division initiatives as needed
