  • Proven success in building a comprehensive cybersecurity framework

Responsibilities

  • Establish a clear vision and strategic direction for Cybersecurity at Aritzia, ensuring timely prioritization of opportunities, leveraging top talent, and driving efficiency while making smart investments
  • Serve as a key advisor and strategic partner to Aritzia’s senior leadership, integrating cybersecurity considerations into broader business strategies and goals
  • Establish and lead the team to enforce cybersecurity standards, policies, and processes in compliance with industry regulations and best practices, and ensure the broader Technology leadership team, Aritzia’s senior leadership team, and Aritzia’s Board of Directors are informed about these standards as well as any changes in the cybersecurity landscape that may impact the organization
  • Foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness and resilience across the organization
  • Lead the team to support compliance, outline operational integrity, and identify and manage cybersecurity risks, working closely with Aritzia’s Legal team to ensure all cybersecurity requirements are adequately addressed
  • Oversee the development, management, maintenance, and communication of internal cybersecurity policies, including education, testing, and validation of benchmarks and standards, including but not limited to PCI-DSS
  • Lead the team to define and manage identity and access controls based on business and compliance requirements across identity, authentication, and access management
  • Oversee the mitigation of vulnerabilities and threats using security controls and alerts, establishing a robust network security architecture to protect Aritzia’s infrastructure against unauthorized access and cyber threats
  • Lead the building, testing, and deployment of cybersecurity features and enhancements
  • Lead incident response and crisis management efforts, including simulations and post-mortem reviews, to ensure continuous improvement of Aritzia’s cybersecurity posture
