Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two (2) years of relevant experience for Institutional Research Analyst II
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four (4) years of relevant experience for Institutional Research Analyst III
- Equivalent combination of education and experience for both levels
Responsibilities
- Provide data support for the university’s administration and academic units.
- Conduct the analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data to stakeholders with varying levels of data knowledge.
- Create and maintain data visualizations using SAS Visual Analytics.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems and reports.
- Complete required state and federal reporting.
- Complete benchmarking surveys, external surveys, and ad hoc data requests.
- Follow-up with departments on data requests to ensure timely completion.
- Serve as a technical co-lead on enterprise systems and platforms.
- Collaborate with departments to identify and address data needs.
- Lead or contribute to large-scale institutional research projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with higher education data.
- Experience with statistical software (e.g., Base SAS, SPSS, R, or Python) and data visualization tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
