Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two (2) years of relevant experience for Institutional Research Analyst II
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four (4) years of relevant experience for Institutional Research Analyst III
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience for both levels

Responsibilities

  • Provide data support for the university’s administration and academic units.
  • Conduct the analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data to stakeholders with varying levels of data knowledge.
  • Create and maintain data visualizations using SAS Visual Analytics.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems and reports.
  • Complete required state and federal reporting.
  • Complete benchmarking surveys, external surveys, and ad hoc data requests.
  • Follow-up with departments on data requests to ensure timely completion.
  • Serve as a technical co-lead on enterprise systems and platforms.
  • Collaborate with departments to identify and address data needs.
  • Lead or contribute to large-scale institutional research projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with higher education data.
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., Base SAS, SPSS, R, or Python) and data visualization tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
