Requirements
- Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Instructional/Educational Technology or job related field from an accredited university.
- Strong ability to work independently and as a team member
- Knowledge of online accessibility issues
- Working knowledge of Moodle
- Excellent editing, writing and communication skills
- Knowledge of pedagogy, learning theories and instructional design models
- Superior time management skills
- Knowledge of adult learning styles
Responsibilities
- Assist faculty with course planning, development, and delivery.
- Assist faculty with the University’s course alignment process by developing and delivering face-to-face and online faculty training courses, workshops, and seminars.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working as an educational/instructional designer/creator at the college level.
- Teaching experience
- Experience creating graduate and undergraduate online courses
- Experience as an online course facilitator/trainer at the college level
- Experience collaborating with college faculty in developing online curriculums and web-based courses
- Quality Matters Certification
