Requirements
- Completed a M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemistry or Biochemistry or an allied field, or expect to receive their degree by summer 2025
- Strong commitment to excellence in teaching undergraduate lecture and laboratory
- Undergraduate teaching experience, preferably in General Chemistry for the Health Sciences or in a similar course
- Good communication skills
- Experience using classroom/laboratory technology
- Demonstrated commitment to pedagogical innovation
Responsibilities
- Instruction in General Chemistry for the Health Sciences curriculum, including a one-semester lecture course and a one-semester laboratory course
- Teaching load of three lecture sections and one laboratory section each semester
- Contribute to university service opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate teaching experience preferably in General Chemistry for the Health Sciences or in a similar course
