Requirements
- Strong administrative skills and high attention to detail / accuracy
- At least 3+ years’ of experience handling review and proofreading of contracts and transactional documents
- Curiosity and an eagerness to learn
- Strong, professional communication skills – both written and verbal
- High attention to detail, and the ability to learn and understand software systems quickly
- Ability to adapt well to priority changes, deadlines, and consistently quick to respond to communications
- Positive and outgoing disposition, eager to work as a team but also functions well working independently
Responsibilities
- Effective and timely communication with all clients – email, letters & telephone
- Collect and coordinate client and event information
- Put together accurate, timely, professional and compliant presentations, reports and other market and client documents as required
- Review of client contracts and insurance requirements
- Detailed review of insurance policy documentation
- Maintain and update electronic client files
- Such other duties as management may from time to time require
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience working in one of the following: insurance brokerage, mortgage brokerage, banking, law firm, or financial services company, responsible for handling review and proofreading of contracts and other transactional documents
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Word
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Strong analytical skill and detailed contract review experience
- Strong sense of urgency & speed to respond, but while maintaining high level of accuracy
- Insurance industry experience is a plus, but not required
