Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent required
- 6+ months previous retail selling experience in consumer electronics or other technical/wireless products preferred
- 6+ months of successful training experience, preferably within direct marketing/retail environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stage a consultative selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs
- Strong analytical skills and customer service orientation
- Strong multi-tasking skills, time management, and attention to detail
- Ability to perform independently in an unstructured work environment
- Travel within 70 miles of Ideal Market Zip Code with occasional travel to other Markets
- Must have and maintain reliable transportation and state-required minimum liability automobile insurance coverage
Responsibilities
- Responsible for accurately executing sales, training, events, and additional projects as requested
- Travel to assigned locations within your market, visiting all stores weekly or bi-weekly based on the frequency model
- Attend meetings and conference calls as required, both in and out of the region, as needed
- Drive brand market share through daily direct and indirect sales activities, engaging directly with customers and retail channel partners; utilize the Best Buy POS to transact sales
- Collaborate with store management to foster sales and product training
- Educate customers and make product recommendations
- Introduce and register sales associates onto the Intel® Retail Edge Program and drive training completions on the site
- Build and maintain relationships with industry vertical affiliates (if applicable)
- Assess and address on-site needs such as merchandising projects, marketing materials, and promotional collateral
- Achieve monthly sales productivity goals and key metrics
- Set and maintain brand merchandising in retail locations to ensure adherence to all brand standards
- Assist in temporarily overseeing event coverage and contribute to team effort by assisting in launch-related activities as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ months previous retail selling experience in consumer electronics or other technical/wireless products preferred
- 6+ months of successful training experience, preferably within direct marketing/retail environments
