Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant intelligence experience, or Master’s degree and 6 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more intelligence disciplines (e.g., criminal, counterintelligence, counternarcotic, geospatial, or financial analysis).
  • Proven ability to plan, conduct, and lead complex research and analytical initiatives.
  • Strong writing and briefing skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Experience supporting exercises, joint operations, or real-world crisis events with intelligence products and planning.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with senior officials and multi-agency teams.
  • Proficiency in tools and systems used for intelligence production and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more intelligence disciplines, overseeing the full lifecycle of intelligence production to support law enforcement and interagency operations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and synthesize data and reporting from teams of analysts to produce high-quality all-source intelligence products, estimates, and briefings.
  • Determine appropriate research methodology and analytic approach; revise as necessary based on shifting operational or strategic priorities.
  • Evaluate and triage incoming intelligence, highlighting pertinent data and emerging threats for senior leadership review.
  • Lead preparation of threat assessments, forecasts, and operational intelligence briefings for use in field investigations and strategic planning.
  • Present and advocate for OCDETF intelligence positions at high-level briefings and interagency coordination meetings.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior intelligence staff; ensure consistency and accuracy of analytical outputs.
  • Plan and coordinate intelligence support for joint exercises and real-world crisis events, including the development of intelligence annexes, resourcing strategies, and operational coordination protocols.
  • Maintain liaison with counterparts in federal intelligence, defense, and law enforcement communities to ensure effective information sharing and collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting OCDETF, DOJ, or multi-agency federal law enforcement task forces.
  • Familiarity with Compass, OFC datasets, or the OCDETF Management Information System.
  • Experience with open-source intelligence (OSINT) integration or social network analysis.
  • Knowledge of interagency coordination practices and intelligence community (IC) methodologies.
