Requirements
- BA or BS degree in International Affairs, Political Science, Foreign Area Studies, or National Security Studies preferred. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years of experience with supporting intelligence planning
- Demonstrated experience in producing high-quality intelligence products and briefings for senior-level government officials
- Knowledge of the Intelligence Community
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Active TS/SCI clearance required; willingness to take a polygraph exam
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret intelligence data from diverse sources to identify trends, threats, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop actionable intelligence reports and recommendations for strategic planning.
- Assess risks and vulnerabilities by evaluating information related to geopolitical, economic, and social factors.
- Support the creation of contingency plans and response strategies based on intelligence assessments.
- Maintain a current understanding of emerging technologies, geopolitical events, and other relevant developments.
- Prepare and deliver intelligence briefings to senior leadership and stakeholders as required.
- Participate in interagency meetings and initiatives to exchange intelligence insights and coordinate efforts.
Preferred Qualifications
- MA or MS degree in International Affairs, Political Science, Foreign Area Studies, National Security Studies, or a related research field a plus
- Experience with developing intelligence annexes, appendices, and other strategic documents, such as the Joint Strategic Intelligence Estimate (JSIE) or Joint Strategic Campaign Plan (JSCP)
- Completion of DoD Intelligence Planning Courses
