Requirements
- Current student, pursuing a BS or MS degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Physics/Math and graduating between December 2025 and June 2026
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong development skills in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, JMP Scripting Language (JSL), Matlab, R, Spotfire
- Knowledge of relational databases and associated tools/libraries
- Self-learner, motivated and interested in unlocking the potential of data
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers from magnetic sputter, equipment engineering and recording groups on a day-to-day basis to build robust data pipelines and aggregate data into databases.
- Write code and documentation, perform analysis of data to identify trends using statistical models or machine learning algorithms.
- Design and develop visualization tools / dashboards to report results.
- Share the key results with other members of the team, provide suggestions for further analysis and receive feedback.
