Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a four-year accredited college or university, pursuing a relevant course of study (Computer Science or Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, etc.), and expected to graduate in 2026
  • Programming skills in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, etc.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies and practices
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles
  • Understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and techniques
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards tackling challenges

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software applications.
  • Assist in implementing new features and functionalities according to project requirements.
  • Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to identify software defects and ensure product quality.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and review sessions with the development team.
  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Learn and apply best practices in software engineering, including version control, testing, and deployment.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide innovative ideas to solve technical challenges.
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends in software development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar is a plus
