Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with strategic communications, writing, and editing for internal or external audiences, in a professional work environment
- Knowledge of industry style guides, communications best practices, and industry trends
- Ability to take initiative, work collaboratively and individually, and develop relationships of trust with your client and team
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and produce a variety of internal and external communication materials and media that supports the Intelligence Community
- Author a variety of content designed for the client’s workforce, including articles, newsletters, web copy, video and podcast scripts, employee spotlights, blog posts, after-action reports, and leadership messages
- Collaborate with graphic designers, web developers, and other creatives to deliver final products that garner attention through both compelling words and visual elements
- Think strategically about the client’s communications needs and draw on writing skills to create content that resonates with audiences at all levels
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the Intelligence Community
- Experience with video or podcast recording and editing software
- Knowledge of website content management systems, including Joomla and WordPress
- Master’s degree
