Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing a sales team at a B2B financial services, fintech, or SaaS organization
- 10+ years of overall business development experience
- Proven track record of enabling individual sellers to hit or exceed quotas
- Technologically savvy and can easily get up to speed on modern tech stacks (i.e., Salesforce, Google Drive, etc.)
- Strong communication skills
- Unwavering determination to achieve success
- Strong knowledge base and ability to discover the unknown
- Instinctually creative with problem-solving approaches
Responsibilities
- Consistently demonstrate sales competencies and lead team to hit quota
- Create realistic forecasts for assigned territory based on historical data, current pipeline, and market conditions
- Design, implement, and continuously improve on strategy and processes to support predictable and scalable growth
- Manage team effectively, foster employee engagement, and provide ongoing, data-driven coaching and feedback
- Systematically capture advisor/client feedback to help inform company priorities (e.g., product roadmap, marketing campaigns)
- Contribute to the sales team’s goal of creating predictable, scalable growth by proactively identifying ways to make the team better, meeting sales SLAs, and consistently maintaining accurate and complete records in Salesforce
- Demonstrate coachability and growth mindset; absorb and apply feedback to increase effectiveness and efficiency
