Requirements
- Must have Series 6
- 2 plus years’ financial services industry sales experience
- State Insurance license required
- Must be able to communicate effectively using verbal and written methods, while explaining products, tools, concepts and processes to a diverse customer base
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Work with RVP to create call lists and prospecting initiatives
- Assist producers with illustrations, NIGO paperwork, process questions, etc.
- Build a call schedule of minimum 2-4 week out
- Conduct lead generation and referral calls
- Conduct thank you, pending business, illustration and follow up calls
- Create sales ideas and marketing strategies, both individual and as part of the team
- Effective territory management through follow up calls
- Identify prospective producers
- Initiate outbound sales telephone calls to clients and prospective clients to position, promote and sell Athene products and to communicate company updates
- Utilize knowledge of company products to develop business through prospecting in the territory and acquiring new producers
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior annuity products sales experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to execute and deliver against territory/account growth
- Proven ability to implement and advance Advisor segmentation growth
- Proven success in building and fostering relationships
