Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography Certification
- Ohio Department of Health Radiology License
- Advanced Certification in Angiography, Interventional or Vascular required
- 0 years of relevant experience required
Responsibilities
- Perform all duties of an Interventional Radiological Technologist
- Provide support to the operation of the department
- Conduct radiation quality assessment activities for the department
- Maintain accreditation of the site under the direction of the IR Manager
- Assist in assessing Interventional Radiological Technologists’ performance for annual merit increases
- Orient new Imaging Technologists to the department
- Ensure accuracy of appropriate coding of procedures performed in the department
- Cover additional IR Manager responsibilities in the Manager’s absence or should a vacancy occur
- Perform invasive angiographic/cardiovascular/interventional imaging procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury
- Provide patient education and perform quality assessment activities for the division under the direction of the Imaging Manager
