Requirements
- Two years of administrative experience in a legal or law enforcement environment
- High School Diploma or GED
- Post-secondary education may substitute for up to one year of the required experience
Responsibilities
- Organize, analyze, and prepare comprehensive files of acquired documentation and data
- Perform clerical duties, including typing, filing, and operation of office equipment
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive information and files
- Monitor video cameras and various security systems
- Perform identification badging functions such as creating, programming, and issuing
- May inspect identification badges to control employee access and prevent unauthorized entry to restricted areas
- Perform walking and mobile patrols of a designated area
- Implement emergency procedures when appropriate or as directed
- Provide basic first aid and CPR in medical emergencies
- Handle incoming/ outgoing packages and deliveries
- Write and prepare incident reports, logs, and other documents as required
- Provide customer service to department personnel, public and external agencies by assisting with requests for reports, documents, and inquiries
Preferred Qualifications
- Security and/or law enforcement experience
- Current or past AZ DPS Security Guard License and/or AZPOST certification
